Introduction to Meditation for Teens

The mental and physical health benefits of meditation for youth have been well established. Join this 8-week course to learn the basics of how to meditate, why it's important, and how to make it the best part of your daily routine.

Youth ages 12 to 17. New and returning students welcome.

This course will be co-taught by our Spiritual Director Kushok Lobsang Dhamch÷e and Society member Gillian Patton. To learn more about our Spiritual Director please visit our web site. Gillian Patton is a licensed teacher, mom of 3, and student of Kushok's since 2007. Gillian is passionate about equipping children with the skills and understanding they need to be compassionate, ethical, and successful.

Course runs every Monday from September 18 to November 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. No class October 9 (Thanksgiving Day).
